G'day, my name is James!

I was lucky enough to grow up in the beautiful Snowy Mountains, where my passion for fitness was ignited through a variety of sports such as mountain biking, skiing and snowboarding; basically anything high speed and slightly wild. Living in such a seasonal town inspired me to travel the world myself, living in Japan and the UK, visiting many wonderful countries along the way.

Originally my dream was to go into the military, however, this was simply not on the cards! The more I travelled, met new people, and experienced new things, the more I discovered my passion for the fitness industry. Ever since becoming a personal trainer, I have never looked back. I realised that being a PT is so much more than 'making a living' or just a 'career', it is my own little way to improve people's lives and overall health, and inspire others to achieve what they believed they could not.

I have explored many avenues of the fitness world myself, starting off in a very humble garage gym, teaching myself different training methods until I got the results I wanted. Nothing has come naturally, and I have had to work hard at developing a healthy and balanced lifestyle. This challenging journey is a constant reminder of the mental challenges we all go through to achieve our goals, not just the physical ones!

My training sessions are fast paced, well thought out and fun. I get my clients the best results possible through a combination of various different training methods. My approach will ensure you are accountable not only in a gym environment, but also outside of the gym in the 'real world'. I will look at your nutrition, your way of life and what you enjoy doing and help you make the best decisions you can make to improve your fitness and overall health.
