I am a passionate fitness professional with 8 years experience as a personal trainer. My desire to help others achieve their health and fitness goals comes from the experience of successfully dealing with my own weight and fitness challenges. I know how unfit feels; I know the pain of looking in the mirror and hating what you see; and I know how the joy and pride that comes from taking action and beating the demons inside.

I'm a martial arts instructor with 20+ years experience, which means I know how to make exercise applicable to the world outside the gym. I'm also a fitness nerd - I love to learn new, better, more fun ways to help people improve their health and fitness. I also love sharing what I learn with my clients. With me as your trainer, you're fitness knowledge will improve right along with your fitness.

In martial arts, as in fitness training, regular training progressing towards a goal is key to success. Sadly, I've seen people train and train, only to be derailed by injury. My philosophy is: Safety First. My aim is to bring out my client's "warrior spirit" - to push them to do more than they thought they could, without ever asking them to do more than they can.
